"JC was a major turning point in my life.  My decision to apply for a PSC scholarship meant that I had decided to work for the Civil Service after my return from university studies, and perhaps even to continue to do so for the rest of my working career.  Looking back, I have no regrets; and would have made the same decision in JC if I had to do it again today.  The overseas academic and life experiences were incredible and invaluable.  The good friends who I made in JC ensured that I quickly settled into Singapore life again and be tapped into the vast network of support when I returned to Singapore.  These friendships have seen me through the ups and downs in life over the last 20 years and I am sure that they will continue to do so for the rest of my life."
