"My days in ACJC were great fun.  I was still so caught up in swimming and water-polo that I didn't have much time for anything else (least of all, studies!).  The thing that sticks most in my mind is having great friends - Alan Lim, Liew Ling Lih, Arthur Fong, and many more.  How has this helped shape me?  I believe very strongly in people.  There is a lot in the biblical truth of laying down one's life for another.  One thing I have learnt is the importance of being there for others - be it family, your boss, one's team or colleague. Why?  My friends were there for me in ACJC.  And so were my teachers...will always remember Mdm Chua Sewh Eng, Mrs Iris Wong...they never gave up on me.  That's why for me it was quite a natural thing to want to go back to ACJC to teach.  Can't say I did a great job there, but there was just no other place I wanted to be."
