An Achievement by an Alumnus

Mr J K Saravana (28), an ex-student of ACJC from 2AD2 of the class of 1999, recently won an award at the SICCI-DBS Singapore Indian Entrepenuer Awards, organised by the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr Saravana runs Tantra, a media production firm which has been involved in Malay programmes on the local television channel 'Suria'. He is also in the process of setting up Arabian and Indian restaurants as branches of his company in the near future. This is a considerable achievement considering that his initial investment had been a mere $15. As such, he was the proud recipient of the SICCI-DBS young entrepreneur award from Finance Minister Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
