The college is proud that two of our JC2 students – Nathaniel Hartono and Selby Lian Kim, both from 2AD2 – were chosen to perform the Theme Song at the Opening Ceremony of the 1st Asian Youth Games.

Watched by millions in Asia, the Opening Ceremony was telecasted live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium to much glitter, colour and youthful zest.

Like many of the Singapore student-performers involved in AYG 2009, both Nathaniel and Lian Kim spent the final week of their June break juggling their commitment to the AYG Opening Ceremony rehearsals, and the staging of ‘Culminatio’ featuring their final DEP ‘A’ Level performance showcase.

The college celebrates Nathaniel and Lian Kim’s achievement in doing the country proud and wishes all youth athletes from Asia a most enriching experience in this historical youth sporting event!
