One Voice, One Dream, One Love. The ACJC soccer team follows strictly by their motto. They seek to work together as one unit, and center their values on commitment, discipline and team work. All this is done for the glory of the school, and for the glory of God.
In November 2008, 3 students from the class of 2009 successfully made it to the 36th Asian Schools U18 Soccer Team that traveled to Zhuhai, China. They were Adam Yuu Douglas, 2AA3, Tan Yong Geng, 2SA8, and Pierson Ang Hong Xiang, 2SB7. It was a great honour for 3 ACJC students to have made the combined schools team. They had the opportunity to train with more experienced players, but more importantly, they were exposed to quality Asian opposition teams. This gave them invaluable experience and memories that will be etched in their minds for a long time.
Every year during the March holidays, the team embarks on a training tour, this year to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The students played and trained against high quality opposition teams, preparing for the coveted National Schools Soccer Championships.

On top of the training, the students also contributed to the society, helping out with a local orphanage. This community involvement allowed the students to enrich their souls, and widen their horizons.

Under Head Coach Mr Ong Jin Yi, the ACJC soccer team has achieved second runners-up position on both attempts in the National Schools Soccer Championships. There has also been a revamp in team organization, with Mr M.S. Arasu joining the team in June 2009 as technical director. He will assist in the recruitment of players and also assist in the coaching.
With the team having a steady foundation, expectations are high for the coming years. It will only be a matter of time when the ACJC soccer team will stand proud by their motto, and attain the number one status in the ‘A’ Division. For The Best Is Yet To Be.
