Serve. Set. Spike. Dig. These words mean the world to an AC Volleyballer. After a period of time, AC Volleyball Team was once again set up in 2006 by Miss Charlotte Tang. It was certainly not an easy route for the pioneer batch, having to paint volleyball court lines on the basketball courts so as to have a court to train on. After hiring coach Mr Tan Wee Ang, a few months after the set up of this CCA, this team has progressed in terms of membership and achievements ever since then. From the 1st batch having a mere number of 7 girls, the 2nd batch saw an increase to 10 girls and the batch after, 12 girls. In 2008, the boys team was set up. With the CCA’s value in mind – passion, discipline & commitment, the courage to dream and the desire to create a legacy, the 2nd batch of girls got into the Top 8 in 2008 and for the first time ever in ACJC’s history, the 3rd batch of girls clinched a 3rd place and the 1st batch of boys got into the Top 8 in the Annual National Schools Volleyball 'A' Division 2009. With this, DSA slots are also given for this rising CCA. As for the batches following the 3rd batch of girls and 1st batch of boys, they will have higher expectations placed on them as AC Volleyball will not stay stagnant for The Best Is definitely Yet To Be.
