ACJC Students are Theme Song soloists

As Singapore plays host to the inaugural Asian Youth Games (AYG) this year, the college is proud that Lian-Kim Selby and Nathaniel Hartono, both from 2AD2 are chosen as soloists for the AYG Theme Song.

 

The theme is written, arranged and recorded by renowned musical composer Mr Iskandar Ismail who approached both Lian Kim and Nathaniel with whom he had worked on previous projects, not knowing that both of them are from the same college and class. The two students will also be performing the theme song at the official Opening and Closing Ceremonies of AYG later this year.

 
Lian Kim and Nathaniel performed at the media launch of the AYG Mascot and Theme Song on 19 March 2009 at Velocity, Novena Square. The Launch was officiated by Guest-of-Honour Mr Teo Ser Luck, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports & Ministry of Transport.

The college congratulates both Lian Kim and Nathaniel on this privileged honour.
