The much anticipated season this year ended with the boys and girls team coming in 3rd runner-ups and top 8 respectively for the National A’ Division Interschool Badminton Competition.   Although the girls’ team faced several challenges during the season, being able to play to our best kept us fighting strong.

The dream of achieving our common goal to reach the Finals of the Championships continued to spur us on.  Pre-season training was grueling, spending at least 4-times a week pushing ourselves to the limits.  An immersion trip to Bangkok during the week of the March holidays stretched us further, as the team took on very strong opposition from Thailand. This overseas experience has certainly exposed us to higher levels of match play and prepared many of us for the Interschool Badminton championships. The memorable experiences this year have certainly bonded the team together, and we look forward to our future goal of bringing glory to the college in the next season.
