The National Junior Robotics Competition ( NJRC ) is the premier event of its kind for schools and tertiary institutions in Singapore. It challenges participants to be technically competent, creative and enterprising through a series of challenges and competitions.
This Year, the ACJC Robotics Team did the college proud by putting up a splendid performance that culminated in them winning in 5 of the 12 categories. The hard work and dedication of the team members bore fruit when they were awarded
Gold for Best Research and Best Video,
Silver for Best Presentation and Best Entrepreneurship and
Bronze for Best Team Image.

The team members were Sidharth Krishnan ( Captain ), Anil Sebastian Pulickel, Tay Xi Wen, Sahil Anil Patel and Heng Hui Jun Lina.

Over a competition period of two weeks, they worked as a team to come up with innovative solutions to the given challenges; to market their proposals, to design and test their ideas and to present their findings. With highly encouraging feedback and
results from NJRC 2008, the ACJC Robotics CCA is all set to challenge itself to better its performance. While NJRC may have been the premier event of the year, the ACJC Robotics CCA is confident that with similar passion, hard work and commitment, it can scale even greater heights.
