The “Science Chronicles - A Literary Quest" is organised by A*STAR’s Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) This pilot science fiction writing competition is open to all students between the ages of 15 – 18. Students will be given free rein to pen their literary creations.

The aims of this literary quest are:
| 1) | Identify budding writers among the student cohort. |

Promote the applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to the masses. |
| 3) | Encourage imaginative thoughts of science and technology of the future. |

Build a new breed of scientific thinkers and visionaries - who can relate the use and application from methodologies of science with the art of imaginative literary creation . |
In Category B, Junior College Level Literary Quest Submission, there were 13 finalist. The top entry came from ACJC. The joint authors are Mohit Khandelwal (2SB2) and Vishesh Mittal (2SB2).
