ACSian Theatre once again dazzled audiences with a fun-filled, witty and energetic performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, from the 5th to the 7th of April 2012, at ACJC’s Faith Centre for Performing Arts. The production was a Middle-Eastern inspired rendition of Shakespeare’s masterpiece and provided a unique perspective to the classic tale.

The witty and entertaining dialogue aided a great deal in the creation of this ethereal world. The exotic and well-choreographed dance sequences further infused the production with elements of romance and fantasy. An imaginative set design and sensational costumes were the final building blocks of this show, thus resulting in three successful nights of performance. With Middle-Eastern cultural influences integrated into the music, dance, and other aspects of the show, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ most definitely captured the hearts of many with its exoticism and splendor.

On behalf of ACSian Theatre, we would like to thank you, the audience, for making it down to the show, ever ready to give your undying and much appreciated support. Without you, our efforts would have been in vain. We look forward to having you at our other performances. To God be the Glory!
