Still Making A Difference!
MOE recently released two TV commercials. The first features the true story of Mrs Lyvenne Chong and her student Edwin. The video is an inspiring one, highlighting the extra mile that many teachers go to in order to provide their students with an all-rounded education . The second commercial introduces the story of Mrs Serene Cordeiro and her success in developing a close-knit relationship with her students such that they remain very much in touch even after graduation – a poignant achievement for any teacher.
These commercials serve as timely reminders for teachers and students alike, that the relationship fostered between teacher and student is a special one that extends beyond the time that a teacher may spend with students in school.
Indeed, these short clips serve as an inspiration to the ACJC family as well as reminding us of the close bond that exist between teachers and ACsians even as the students complete their JC education at ACJC.
