ACJC will be having one e-learning day on 10th May 2012. Students need not attend school for the day but will attend lessons and work on their assignments from home.
The objectives of the e-learning day is for students to participate in ICT enriched lessons, provide opportunities for staff to experiment and practise ICT tools and to be prepared for emergencies. The replication of the face to face teaching environment on our Learning Management System (LMS) will enable the college to be certain of the provision of a robust online learning environment for our students.
On the e-learning day, students will follow the usual time table and login to the ACJC LMS before 0900 hours for the following activities.
(a) Daily on-line Devotions
(b) Read College announcements for the day.
(c) Check for lesson instructions in the Subject Modules in the ACJC LMS.
(d) Take note of activities that take place within the time tabled slots e.g lessons using subject forums, wikis and assessments.
(e) Complete and hand in assignments as instructed.
