The ACJC Netball Team took part in the A-Division Netball Championship in April and May 2009. Though short, it was an intense season for the team. In the First Round, Team ACJC encountered CJC, MJC, TPJC and TJC, and defeated them with goal differences of more than 50. In the Second Round, the team fought on to gain the semi-final spot after defeating HCI, PJC and SRJC. The semi-final was a match-up against SAJC. With the team united by the desire to clinch the title for the college, the players fought as one. SAJC was cleared with a score of 73-35, bringing the team to the final match against RIJC.

On the day of the Final, basked in the deafening cheers of the ever-dominant ACJC supporters, the team stepped onto the court with one goal in mind, to fight till the very last whistle. From the start, Team ACJC asserted its presence, dominating in the play throughout. The team put up a stable and confident performance, and by half time, a lead of 5 goals was achieved. The second half of the game proceeded, and Team ACJC continued to maintain control. As the clock ticked its final seconds, the crowd celebrated. The 2009 A-Division Netball Championship title had been secured. The final score: 61-48. Well done AC Netball!

The team would like to thank God for seeing every player through the tough season and for blessing the college with the victory. To all the teacher and student supporters, thank you for walking with the team in 2009. The Best Is Yet To Be!
