The college received an outstanding 6 awards at the 2008 Ministry of Education Workplan Seminar on 25 September. In addition to Sustained Achievement Awards in the areas of the Aesthetics, Physical Fitness and Sports, the College was awarded the Outstanding Development Award for Character Development and the Best Practice Award for Teaching and Learning. The College has also been awarded the School Distinction Award. This Special Award recognises schools with high achievements and excellent processes and practices, and is the second highest award in the Ministry’s Masterplan of Awards.

          

The awards attest to the College’s commitment to its vision of providing ‘an all round education of the highest standards based on Christian principles and a consciousness of self, others and God’. The philosophy of the College is translated to an all-round curriculum that seeks to develop every ACJC student in the following domains - cognitive, physical, aesthetics, social, moral, emotional and leadership. Curricular and co-curricular programmes are developed to deliver the envisioned learning outcomes in all domains. Integration of these programmes ensures that learning in the College is holistic and engaging.

The achievements of the College bear testimony to the passion, commitment, dedication and talents of the staff members, students, parents, and the wider community of alumni and supporters.
