8th National Inter-School Dragonboat Championships
ACJC Canoeing and Dragonboat Club attained top positions for the 8th National Inter-school Dragonboat Championships.
On the 12th of April, the Canoeing & Dragonboat Club took part in the 8th National Inter-School Dragonboat championships held at Bedok Reservoir and we are proud to announce that both the guys and girls team came in top positions for their various categories. The boys’ team also clinched the ‘A’ Division Men’s Championship title.
For the women’s events, the ten-crew boat came in 2nd position and the twenty-crew boat came in 3rd.
For the men’s events, the boys sent in 3 teams for the ten-crew race, all of which made it to the finals. Team B came in 3rd position and Team A came in 1st. In the 20-crew event, ACJC also emerged as champions.
We would like to thank our Principal, Mrs. Chan, Vice-Principals, Mr. Loo and Mr. Mak, for their unwavering support. Our teachers, Ms Ng, Ms Zhu and Mr Sun, for guiding us through each and every step of the way. Last but not least, we would like to thank God for watching over us.
