The Singapore Quality Class (SQC), launched by SPRING Singapore in 1997, is the certification for the overall organisational excellence. Based on the internationally benchmarked organisational excellence framework, the SQC provides organisations with a holistic model for managing for excellence. It has 7 categories, namely, Leadership, Planning, Information, People, Processes, Customers and Results. Certification to SQC is determined by the organisation’s performance in the Business Excellence Assessment for Continuous Improvement (BEACON). The assessment allows an organisation to benchmark its own management systems and practices against the criteria requirements of the organisational excellence framework.

On 24 July 2007, a team comprising of assessors from SPRING Singapore and the Ministry of Education School Appraisal Branch visited the College to assess our management systems and practices. We are grateful to the Lord that the SQC Assessment Committee has endorsed ACJC as an organisation of excellence deserving of the Singapore Quality Class. To God be the glory!
