The college received an outstanding 8 awards at the 2011 Ministry of Education Workplan Seminar. In addition to the Sustained Achievement Awards in the areas of Aesthetics and Sports, the college was awarded Outstanding Development Awards in Character Development and National Education. The college has also been awarded Best Practice Awards in the areas of Teaching and Learning, Student All-Round Development, and Staff Well-being. The college has clinched the School Excellence Award. This Special Award recognises schools for their excellence in both education processes and outcomes. It serves as a mark of distinction for schools that have sustained achievements in a wide spectrum of student development processes. This special award is the highest award in the MOE Masterplan of Awards.

The Singapore Quality Class is the certification for the overall business excellence standard by Spring Singapore. Based on the internationally benchmarked business excellence framework, the SQC provides organisations with a holistic model for managing a business for excellence. The college is recertified with the Singapore Quality Class Award.

The awards attest to the college’s mission of providing ‘an all-round education of the highest standards, based on Christian principles and a consciousness of self, others and God.’ The philosophy of the college is translated into an all-round curriculum that seeks to develop every ACJC student in the following domains – cognitive, physical, aesthetics, social, moral, emotional and leadership. Curricular and co-curricular programmes are developed to deliver the envisioned learning outcomes in all domains. Integration of these programmes ensures that learning in the college is engaging and holistic.
